life in this part of town

is anyone wondering...wow I wonder what is going on in the life of sharlene? I mean I know its on my mind quite often.....what am I doing with my life? Just in case it is on your mind too and you have nothing better to do than blog stock (dont be embarassed- i do it too) then here goes- summer has been great and I cant believe its already July. In the past week I have gone to Trafalga 3 times ALL for FREE!! Since we work at Seven Peaks we get a discount and had some free activity passes for June.

First time in my life: went with some work friends- Emilie, Malae, Clayton and his roommate. We hit the batting cages (i suck...and it hurts your hands...but quite fun), mini golf and I totally dominated and 4D movie- i dont suggest this part. It was so FUN!



Second time: went for FHE with Jessica, Scott, Jackson and Carson. We played mini golf and Jackson (my 2 year old nephew) is SOO cute to watch and so good. He'd get out there are swing his club, he's actually a good golfer then RUN to the next hole. Jess why dont we ever take pictures? We played TONS of arcade games and won like over 400 tickets to get cool prizes.

Third time: rode on Alex's scooter to get there and played mini golf- no worries I won again! We had tons of fun and I loved it.

So for future if you are thinking about going to Trafalga GO!! Its a blast!

My friend Nick from high school just got home from his mission from Tawain. So Lance, Nick and I went out to dinner and ate Sushi on Saturday- it was so fun to see him and hear some experiences and learn about Taiwan. The next day was his homecoming and he did so great. I cant even imagine learning Chinese. Too hard. But I am ready for my next language.....so I'll be trilingual.

Speaking of missionaries returning home- Matt gets home in 41 days from Brazil!!!!!!!!! Thats so crazy. Who knows what'll happen? I guess only Heavenly Father really knows... so we just gotta trust Him.

Work has been SO good this week. I LOVE SEVEN PEAKS! I love everyone that works here. Grandma and I have been getting along better too. My day off- Tuesday- I had no plans so I just cleaned the house and we hung out- got her hair done, grocery shopping, lunch at Kneaders (SOO delicious!) and chatted for a while. I have always thought Grandmas house is spic and span...then I borrowed Jessicas vacuum and there was so much dust in some places the carpet changed colors.

I was available for an upgrade and I got a new phone...for FREE!! Its a black berry flip phone and I like it. I checked at T-mobile and was going to get the pearl for $80 then Sab told me to check Wal-Mart (great idea!!) and I got one for free. Now my phone wont die every 5 hours and isnt as ghetto as my old one. Cool. heres a picture

Basically in case you just skimmed through...life in provo is wonderful. Although I DO need to be better at keeping in touch with people. Alicia- I really do wanna hang out. I miss everyone from Cedar (especially my roommates!) and I'm excited for fall semester but for now I like being here. Note to all: live in the Present- its better. Peace out! Have a fantastic day.
