Bear Lake and Boating

My family went to bear lake for the weekend. David is getting taller than me!

FUNNY/embarassing story: we relaxingly floated out on lake on our little tubes, had a fun time laughing and playing, we realized we were out pretty far so we tried paddling, swimming and kicking our way back. Little did we know that the wind was blowing pretty far and no matter how hard we paddled we were stuck in the same spot. We didnt even know how we got out that far, especially without realizing it. Then we came up with a system where david back stroked I held his legs and kicked. We would move a little but it got tiring FaSt! Sabrina was pulling marcus along because he was determined that eventually we would just float to shore and he wanted to relax and not get wet. All of the sudden this boat is coming straight at us, david says that looks a lot like dad on the boat (keep in mind we did not have a boat, thus the reason we were just floating on these dinky tubes) I turned and saw him and exclaimed- that is dad! As soon as we were in ears reach he's like "Get in the Boat" So we climbed aboard to this random family that came and had to rescue us. Boy did we feel like idiots. I guess we were out there a few hours and didnt even realize it so my parents got worried and knew we would never make it back. Good news we all made it alive and someone saved the day. We had fun and stayed close to shore the rest of the afternoon.

My ward is awesome! and we went on a boating activity the other day It was too windy so we just tubed and it was a BLAST!

This boat ride was much more enjoyable than the ashamed rescue ride the other day.
