Travel Log

My roommate and I were talking about how funny it is when you ask someone where they are from and they give you a travel log. Sometimes you honestly dont care where they are from its just a conversation starter but sometimes I honestly care and think it is interesting and kinda tells about a person and why they might view the world and life the way they do depending on where they have grown up. Normally the answer you want is the place where they spent most of their life or high school years.

I think that everyone should get a chance to move outside of Utah sometime in their life, maybe even out of the United States, but at least move around a little in your life, try new things, get to know new people and new experiences.

my travel log:

Born in Houston, Texas. Well actually in Spring Texas. Next my family moved to Murray, Utah. We lived there for a couple years. We moved into my grandparents house in Ogden, Utah for the next few years while they were in Hawaii.

Summer before 2nd grade I moved to Taylorsville, Utah and lived there until I moved to college. I call this city home.

College life of SUU moved me down to Cedar City. I love it here too and feel like its my new home becuase I have lived here for the past 2 1/2 years.
besides my studies in Monterrey, Mexico where I did study abroad and had the TIME OF MY LIFE!

I cant wait to travel more and maybe even live other places so I can add onto my travel log haha.

I like the travel log...Glad your healing, don't muscles take a long time to heal? Also, I know what you mean about being friends with guys. In high school when my boyfriend left on his mission, we decided that I wasn't "waiting" for him, but I couldn't really announce that to all the guys I did know...nobody asked me out, and I didn't date until I moved away to college. It stunk. Anyhoo, it looks like you are doing great! Jake and Grace have a new primary teacher for a few months, another study abroad student! It's great! Rebecca

This post made me laugh because whenever Nathan gets asked where he is from, he always starts with Idaho. He was born there and moved to Utah early enough that he doesn't remember living there at all.
