experiences at my new internship

I love doing an internship here at MIC! Its been quite an experience. NO I dont work at a construction site as it looks- On Tuesday I went to Cemex (a cement company) and we filmed a commercial! I got to see what goes down. We had to wear cool vests while we were on the site.

Here I am holding the script for the commercial. So helpful.....I know

Felipe and Ulysis

Me and Dani- my boss

Normally we all work in an office doing diff marketing stuff for lots of companies. Like today I finished a project of wrapping butters (styrofoam with new package designs) for demos for an expo, and putting CDs into covers, and editing pictures from a catalog in photoshop. I love the people that work here- there are about 13 of us.

quick story- MOnday was hilarious! We heard a duck quacking outside so we went outside to investigate. We think it was a pet gone loose so we wanted to catch it before it got hit by a car. We tried feeding it water, tortillas, but he didnt want it so we gave up. Then we tried to catch him ( a few neighbors were out there too) SO imagine 10 adults running around after this duck that keeps escaping, just to try to save it. I wish i would have taken pictures cuz it was funny!

one more story- Wednesday I got to record and hear what i sound like in Spanish- haha. What a joke. I sound totally American but I am finally getting better and Ulysis helped me a ton with my pronunciation now that i can recognize what i need to work on. It was awesome!

Yeah! we got our lap top back today! Good to see u and hear ur stories. yes. u do look like a constr. worker! haha You totally speak 2 languages (well 3 if u can still speak sign lang) i am jealous. I am glad u got to watch the RS broadcast. I am a dork and I thought it started at 7. I was going to go to my friends and watch it. I felt so dumb. So i watched it from 645-end. I guess I will have to read it or watch it on the internet. And the duck thing hillarious! I think u would get in trouble in utah if a cop saw u chasing after or catching ducks. Opps I did that once! haha
