First day of Church and School

Sunday was so nice! I woke up early and took a taxi to church. I was able to contact my bishop and get directions- so thank you dad and sister cotrell (who i still havne´t met). It was so nice to walk in and hear familiar songs and feel the spirit there. We sang "El Alba Ya Rompe" which means the Day dawn is Breaking and "Mas Cerce, Dios, a Ti"- Nearer My God to Thee. I met some really cool people that were so nice and friendly! They have some young single adults and it was so fun to meet them. I met a girl that graduated from SUU and married someone and moved down here. Dont worry i´m most likely NOT going to do that. I love Matt! have i got any letters from him by the way? The mail here sucks so i hope that the letter i sent him gets to him. thank goodness for email. but anyways...i have made some fun friends here and its great. After church it was just a relaxing day and I hung out with my roommates and Miia. Okay so a little about my roommates- Mehtap is from Germany and she's 29. Our other roommate that is supposedly from mexico has not moved in yet. I hope she rememebers when school started! And then upstairs there is Orlando (17 from Mexico), Norman (22 from Germany) and Roberto (26 from Monterrey, Mexico). I made Norman learn some card games and it was fun talking and playing games.

The first day of school was good too. Yesterday I only had one class- salsa dancing and i hope that one day i´m half as good as my teachers. They are amazing!! It was in spanish but there are a lot of exchange students in that class. Then i went shopping and I bought groceries, a cute new comfortor (which i bought queen size on accident so Sab you can have it when i move home cuz its cute- i´ll have to put a picture on- its like green, blue and white) I´m glad my family had fun in Yellowstone and I miss you too!! I love you guys. Today I had more classes- 2 spanish classes, consumer analysis and international business. Spanish grammar is hard. I´m in the intermediate calss and i´ve learned a lot! I went to lunch with some people from Belgium and it was great. I have a few Mexican friends that we only talk in spanish. but a lot of people know english too so its kinda hard to always speak spanish. but im trying!! and learning lots. I love you all so much!
